About Me
Welcome! I’m Dayna, an educator, writer, and follower of Christ with a heart for encouraging others through faith and life’s journey. I believe God is present in every season—both the joyful moments and the difficult ones.
This blog is where I share reflections on Scripture, purpose, grief, teaching, and the everyday ways God continues to work in our lives. My hope is that these words point you to the peace, hope, and truth found in Jesus Christ.
Whether you’re searching for encouragement, studying God’s Word, or walking through a difficult season, I’m glad you’re here. My prayer is that you leave each visit reminded that God sees you, loves you, and is faithfully working in your life—even when you can’t yet see the whole picture.

Why I Gather These Pieces
Pieces of Purpose began as small journal entries—quiet conversations between God and me, written in ordinary moments of life. After losing my cousin, those quiet moments became even more meaningful. Grief has a way of making you notice the things you once overlooked. This space is where I gather those moments, hold them up to the light, and search for God’s purpose within them. My hope is that these reflections remind us both that even in loss, joy, questions, and everyday life, purpose is never absent.
